Simone Biles posted a snap to her Instagram Story on Monday afternoon, showing off a red, white and blue outfit with the word “Texans” across her chest, captioning the photo, “Having some fun.” And, while “fun” is said to be unexplained, we can’t help but think it has something to do with her fiance. Her soon-to-be husband Jonathan Owens is of course a player for the Houston Texans.
In the photo, Biles wears a navy blue crop top with “Texans” written across the chest. Bright white short shorts with a belt on the bottom and red stripes on the sides. Except for a single white sweatband on his wrist, nothing else can be seen. In fact, it looks almost identical to the football team’s cheerleader uniform, but no other information has been teased yet.
This isn’t the first time Biles has donned a Texan getup. In 2017, the Olympic gymnast became a Texan cheerleader in a themed outfit. What’s more, since dating Owens, Biles’ date-night style and their coordinated couple looks are totally on point.
The 25-year-old is said to be planning her upcoming wedding, and she recently shared more details, including the color theme and her bridesmaids’ looks. She has already chosen her wedding dress, and it stands to reason that Owens will choose a complementary suit, white, classic black or perhaps another color to complement the bride.
Biles’ latest sporty outfit is arguably their most perfect couple moment yet. Here’s hoping the couple has some photos together in their matching Texan-inspired gear.
