Jet-setter, Simone Biles is currently enjoying an end-of-summer trip to Mexico City, where she seems to be on a trip that mixes both work and pleasure. While it’s not yet clear what work has taken him south of the US-Mexico border, he has posted about his enthusiasm for adventure. With a snap on Instagram, in which she stands in front of a line of cacti, she wrote, “When Mexico City calls for work, you go.”
In the photo, Biles kept her summer wardrobe strong, rocking one of this season’s hottest looks: a trusty crop-top and denim-shorts combination. In the photo, she stands with green cacti in front of a bright-red wall that reads “Mexico Mi Amor.” Wardrobe wise, Biles styled a pair of distressed jean shorts with a black spaghetti-strap crop top for an early 2000s look. For a little more coverage, the Olympian threw a white button-down over her shoulders, a popular trend we’ve been seeing her on a lot lately. Not to mention, this layering technique helps you transition all your crop-top-and-shorts pairings into the cooler fall months. Biles finished off the denim-short look with a pair of bright-white sneakers, another sporty addition to her regular rotation.
The 25-year-old is fresh from her Turks and Caicos vacation, where she sported a variety of colorful bikinis, including her bright-green string style that she shared on Instagram just before the holiday weekend. Biles also sported a similar look to this most recent one in late June when she wore jean shorts, a white crop top, and a plaid flannel shirt layered.
Although summer may be over, Biles’ arsenal of style inspiration will keep fashionistas inspired into fall. From date-night ensembles to poolside attire, she’ll find creative ways to transition her summer staples into next season and beyond.
