Sidney Sweeney celebrates her two Emmy nominations for “The White Lotus” and “Euphoria” on Monday, September 12, in LA. After walking the red carpet before the event in a custom Oscar de la Renta design covered in shimmering floral appliqué, the 25-year-old actor switched his look to a beautiful jade tone for a vintage Versace dress to attend HBO’s nominations reception at the San Vicente Bungalow.
Sweeney’s stylist, Molly Dickinson, revealed that the star’s gown was deliberately worn backwards to showcase three striking cutouts across the chest, bust and torso. While the floor-sweeping skirt is made from gathered satin, leather sleeves contrast and thick patent strips stitched across the bodice provide a striking update. The look was finished with elegant teardrop diamond earrings and Giuseppe Zanotti Bebe platforms.
Sweeney underwent a full glam makeover for the transformation, with hairstylist Glenn Coco straightening her waves and flipping the ends into a sleek lob; Makeup artist Melissa Hernandez lined her eyes with a smoky, evening-appropriate cat eye; And manicurist Zola Gonzorigot paints her nails just the right shade of green.
Sweeney posed with “Euphoria” costar Zendaya (who also changed into a fancy Valentino silhouette) and Maude Apatow before heading to New York Fashion Week, where she sat front row at the Tory Burch runway show in September. 13 to play his role as brand ambassador.
