Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams finally tied the knot in a star-studded wedding ceremony at Sunstone Winery in California on Saturday, August 20. The 31-year-old “Modern Family” star originally planned to marry in 2020 after getting engaged in 2019 but has postponed her wedding due to Covid.
Hyland resplendent in a white corseted gown, with off-the-shoulder tulle sleeves and a full skirt that extended to a train behind her. The elegant design, delicate pleating and boning bodice with subtle open clasps, tapped into the romantic Renaissance trend.
Hyland opted for a fingertip-length veil that cascaded down from the crown of her hair. She wore a messy, low bun with loose pieces that framed her face and drew attention to a pair of diamond drop earrings. The bride accessorized with a diamond tennis bracelet and went for a bronzed, shimmery makeup look. Her peachy-pink-toned bouquet was adorned with a string of pearls.
The groom, Bachelor Nation star Adams, kept his suit classic. The 38-year-old opted for a black satin tie and complemented the Highland bouquet with a caramel colored boutonniere.
Officiating the wedding was fellow “Modern Family” star Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who wore a splashy blue Paul Smith suit. Sofia Vergara appeared in a black-and-white floral Bamba dress with a glittering Valentino purse and peep-toe platforms.
Although we’ve only seen these first looks from the celebration, Hyland told PEOPLE in July that she’ll be wearing multiple outfits for the event: “I’m going with more outfits than originally planned. But my vision board is still intact,” she said. Watch this space for updates as the couple will be sharing more photos from their wedding in the coming days.
