Ryan Reynolds wearing beaded bracelets made by his kids

Ryan Reynolds accessorized with sentimental jewelry for his August 9 “Jimmy Kimmel Live” appearance. The “Deadpool” actor proudly wore beaded bracelets made by his daughters as he and guest host Rob McElhaney discussed Welsh soccer team Wrexham AFC. . He stacked several handmade creations with his Apple Watch: a sparkling green and clear bead that spelled out “DAD,” a pink smiley-face bead, and a rainbow assortment. The colorful stack popped against his outfit, featuring otherwise muted tones in the form of a gray suit, white button-down and black tie.

Reynolds has been spotted wearing the same bracelet for several other outings this summer, including Wrexham soccer games, a Cannes Lions event and the premiere of Taylor Swift’s “All to Well: The Short Film.” Besides being a sweet way to keep her kids close to her busy schedule, Reynolds’ accessories also play into the “kidcore” fashion aesthetic, characterized by bold colors, fun prints and nostalgic jewelry.

Reynolds shares three daughters with wife Blake Lively — 7-year-old James, 5-year-old Inez and 2-year-old Betty — and the beaded bracelets were likely the result of an afternoon DIY project at home. Maybe they made one for Lively that reads “Mom” to match?

Reynolds’ outfit is mostly neutral (think: navy jacket, gray pinstripe suit and white tee), with color from her bracelets a welcome style switch-up for the pop star, whether she’s on or off duty.
