Old Navy Fit U 3-Size-in-1 Flare Jeans I Editor’s Review

In February, I introduced a new concept that blew me away in every sense of the word: the Old Navy FitsU 3-Size-in-1 Extra High-Waisted Rockstar Super Skinny Jeans. The idea is that you choose a size range (0-00, 2-6, 8-12, 14-18, 20-24 and 26-30) rather than a number, as it is very common for us to fluctuate in weight. . I was skeptical at first, but overall really impressed. At the time, the only thing that bothered me was that they were only available as skinny jeans, and as someone who gravitates toward wide-leg styles these days, I hoped the brand would eventually come out with a pair. Well, I’m happy to report that time is now! While perusing its new arrivals section, I spotted the Old Navy FitsU 3-Size-in-1 Extra High-Waisted Flare Jeans ($40, originally $60) and immediately added them to my cart in the size 8-12 range. My honest thoughts, read on.

What I love about these jeans

It almost sounds confusing, but these jeans are so comfortable they don’t feel like it. . . Jeans I’m wearing them now and they’re not digging into me at all, nor do they feel tight or tight. They’re soft to the touch and stretchy, probably thanks to the fact that they’re made of a cotton, polyester and spandex blend. And not to be dramatic, but I’ll be cool wearing these every single day for the foreseeable future. Another thing I love is the fit: they’re fitted at the hips and thighs and flared at the bottom, which I find very flattering. I teamed them with one of my favorite Old Navy bodysuits and a pair of wedges, for an easy, comfortable look that felt put together and sophisticated.

What is worth noting

One thing to note about these jeans is that they are the brand’s *extra* high rise jeans, meaning they are an inch taller than its standard high-rise jeans and sit above the belly button. That said, if you don’t usually opt for high-rise styles, these may fall a bit higher than you’re used to and, therefore, may not be for everyone.

Another thing to keep in mind is that some buyers find them too long. According to the brand’s website, they are meant to hit below the ankle. I’m 5″ 9′ and found that they hit just the right length, but I can see how they could be too long for some. That said, though, if you’re thinking of scooping them up for fall, they could pair well with a pair of heeled boots. completely with

Who are these jeans best for?

These are the best for those who seek really A comfortable pair of denim that is forgiving in size. I personally find the FitsU 3-Size-in-1 concept to be a breath of fresh air as it puts much less pressure on the jeans when I’m feeling bloated or a few pounds overweight. I can count on this pair and the skinny jeans above to adjust to my body shape in that moment. And you can’t say that about *most* jeans, can you?

  • These jeans are made of 72 percent cotton, 11 percent polyester, 6 percent spandex, 6 percent other fibers and 5 percent recycled cotton.
  • These jeans come in sizes XS-4X.
