Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s return to New York City has already been marked by a stylish appearance. First, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived at the United Nations headquarters in a coordinated look that exuded timeless elegance. Markle wore a black Givenchy top and pencil skirt that gave the illusion of a knee-length dress. The crewneck knit top features a round neckline and mid-length sleeves, while the high-waisted skirt is distinguished by two front patch pockets.
She paired it with Manolo Blahnik BB pumps in black suede, giving the look a businesslike flair. While she kept her jewelry minimal, she accessorized with a large mulberry zipped Bayswater leather bag in Oxblood, her go-to yellow gold Cartier ‘Love’ bracelet and a gold Cartier Tank Francaise watch. Her neat ponytail and natural makeup enhanced the ensemble.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry also nailed the business theme by styling a navy suit over a white button-down shirt. She completed the look with accessorized black shoes.
The couple held hands as they made their entrance while attending the United Nations Nelson Mandela Awards ceremony. Prince Harry delivered a keynote speech during the event, honoring trailblazing activist and former South African President Nelson Mandela.
It marks Markle and Harry’s first visit to New York City since last September, as the couple have kept a low profile in Montecito, California since stepping back from their royal duties in 2020. But they did attend Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee weekend. Back to London in June.
