Lizzo treated fans to a can’t-miss video on Tuesday promoting her “Special” album with an alternate cover available exclusively at Target. Wearing an itty catsuit and bra underneath, she pushed a bright red cart through the store in search of the music section, picking up other items along the way. Looking into the camera at the beginning of the video, the “About Damn Time” singer says, “I’m here at Target, and I’m looking for something special.” From there, he grabbed just about everything from a giant watch to a plant-based protein product. And, of course, he carried a stack of copies of his own album.
For the occasion, the 34-year-old star opted to wear a logo-printed catsuit from Iti, her newly-launched shapewear line. Although not available for purchase at the moment, it’s a stretchy long-sleeve jumpsuit with an all-over white logo print that has a denim effect. With its wide lapel inspired by the 70s and layered underneath, Lizzo wore a white sports bra (also from ET) with a banded logo at the base.
This latest Target run isn’t the first time she’s worn the brand on Instagram, having already shared appearances in a red sleeveless bodysuit and those infamous butt-cutout leggings, to name a few. Lizzo launched Yitty in March as a partnership with popular e-commerce platform Fabletics. Size inclusive shapewear and activewear lines offer an assortment of colors, prints and styles. “Instead of thinking about size in this linear way, we’re thinking about it on a spectrum where everyone is included,” Lizzo previously said in a press release. “Everyone’s size is just their size. It’s not high, it’s not low. It’s not big, it’s not small. It’s just your size.” While Lizzo’s denim catsuit isn’t yet available for purchase, in the meantime, check out some ET bodysuits, shorts, and bralettes reviewed by the Popsugar team.
