Julia Fox took to the streets of New York ahead of Fashion Week this past summer to continue showcasing a range of black, skin-baring looks along with her edgy, eccentric style. Fox’s latest choice is a stretch-nylon midi dress with an open cage corset, created by designer Luis de Javier, who has also dreamed up stars like Rihanna and Kim Kardashian. The look in question is attached to a long, grommet-equipped strap that wraps around the neck like a halter and extends toward the floor.
Working with her stylist Brianna Andalore, Fox, 32, accessorized with a pair of pointed-toe leather booties, complete with a chunky buckle strap across the upper and a sharp, nail-like stiletto heel. She finished off the ensemble with a round leather shoulder bag from Buy Fur and a natural makeup look with a soft pink lip and a touch of blush – save for thick swipes of dark red shadow that lined her eyes. She opted for wet hair, side parting, and a square-shaped French manicure with transparent tips.
Fox’s outfit will likely conjure images of the latex outfit she wore in LA last August, which is held together by two pieces of metal. The mini was another example of the amazing fabrics and silhouettes she was willing to experiment with as she collected her memorable moments.
Ahead, catch a few more angles of Fox in Luis De Javier’s forward-thinking designs, then reminisce about her set of all-leather pieces with a skull cap for another photoshoot on August 12.
