If I were to hack a holiday hosting, your food (and drink!) Would have to be doubled as a decoration. Nothing brings more atmosphere to a holiday party than an on-theme spread of food and drink and it can be easier than you think. From wreath-laying charcuterie boards to festive-shaped confectionery or festive drinks bring a holiday spirit to your table for your holiday gathering.

Drinks are a very easy way to set the vibe for a holiday party. One of my favorite mocktail recipes is to mix pomegranate juice with a sparkling cider and add a sprig of pomegranate seeds and rosemary for a festive touch. I always get a lot of praise for how good it is – it’s hard to believe it only takes 2 seconds hahaha. To further decorate the drink, try a gold-rimmed glass Like these.

Let’s talk about clothing – to hack an extra holiday hosting outfit – one of the easiest parts to take your look from ‘Ordinary Friday Night’ to ‘Festive’ is an ornate headband. Headbands are one of the hottest accessories this season. I found out Kohls likes this cute white beaded one (now selling for under $ 10!) And likes how much it adds to the look of a simple fuzzy cardigan and jeans. (Of course with a red lip – it’s definitely a holiday. 🙃) I got this cute sparkly mesh one and this glass – all selling for less than 10 now. You can watch a video I made with all 3 here.

Below are some links to my favorite holiday headbands:
