Fendi Spring 2023 show at Milan Fashion Week

Building on the success of its New York Fashion Week show, where Linda Evangelista modeled the famous baguette bag and Kim Kardashian sat front row in a neutral sequin gown, Fendi returned home in time for Milan Fashion Week. The Italian luxury label unveiled its spring/summer 2023 collection on September 21, welcoming a star-studded crowd to the show.

Shaw Mitchell, who recently gave birth to her daughter, was hard to miss in a bright yellow dress consisting of a jacket-style top and a knee-length sequin midi dress. The long-sleeved dress features a black high neck and a zippered pocket in the center for an edgy touch. She stuck to the sunshine color theme with a bright yellow baguette bag, but opted for black pumps and frames as well as some silver jewelry as finishing accessories.

Other celebs at the event, like Lily Allen and Jourdan Dunn, continued the easy-going, cool vibe. Allen wore an oversized jacket, styled over a mock-neck sweater and mini skirt and finished off with white pumps. Meanwhile, Dunn wore a gray printed corset top with a curved hem and matching wide-leg trousers from the brand’s fall 2022 collection. Her accessories, a matching top-handle bag and black pumps, rounded out the look perfectly.

Creative director Kim Jones sent models down the catwalk wearing earthy separates in a mostly green and white color palette. There were loose dresses, fuzzy sweaters for winter and skirts with Fendi logo hardware pockets. Accessories range from large satchels and small cuff-style bags to rubber boots and platform mules. The central focus of the collection was the work of Karl Lagerfeld from 1996 to 2002, which Jones attempted to give a contemporary spin. “I’m excited to see what Karl has done, and how we can develop them – visually and technically,” he said in an official statement.

Ahead, see what the stars wore and get a glimpse of the new collection.
