If you’ve been tuning in to Hulu’s “The Kardashians”, you know that a big part of the show’s focus is on the relationship between Courtney Kardashian and Travis Barker. From documenting their full engagement on the beach in Montesito, CA to releasing snippets of their IVF voyages, not much has been kept secret, which is why fans aren’t surprised to see the drama surrounding Kardashian’s engagement ring in five episodes.
In one of the first scenes, Chris Jenner goes to Kardashian’s house and looks at his daughter’s left hand, which he is carefully guarding to his right. “Where’s the ring?” Jenner asks. Kardashian revealed that he unzipped his ring while folding his sweatshirts, placed it on the floor next to him, and accidentally smashed the sparkler after something reached his closet.
By the time the episode was shot, Kardashian had sent the broken ring to jewelers for repair. “I was crying frantically in my closet for hours, and then I called Travis. I think, ‘I did something really, really bad.’ And he handled it well, but it really gave me a nervous breakdown. I think it’s the most beautiful thing of my life, and how could I do it? ”
Kardashian’s oval-shaped diamond is set in a thin, micro-pave band and is estimated to weigh about eight to 10 carats. According to Bill Kung, owner of Ultimate Diamond, it costs about $ 500,000 and possibly around $ 1 million. Kardashian talks about its sensitive value in the episode, “Travis picked it himself, he designed it, he saw a lot of rocks, and it was like me on a rock, so I thought it was really special.”
It’s not clear how long it took to fix the ring, although we recently saw the push founder on Instagram and on the red carpet stay after Sparkler.
In front, before and after the accident, watch Kardashian proudly show off her engagement ring.
