Billie Eilish has been showing off her signature style of unusual nonchalance while on her world tour, and during her Australia stop, she went on “Hot Nights with Abby Chatfield” for a 10-minute interview. To record the segment, the 20-year-old singer wore hand-picked vintage items from Storeroom Vintage, including a reworked cargo maxi skirt and oversized Carhartt jacket with distressed detailing.
The skirt features a prominent slit at the back that both allows for movement and reveals Hilsa’s shoe moment: a pair of angel chain sneaker boots with intricate, futuristic lacing and embellished, log-sole platforms. She teamed them with mid-shin ribbed socks, tan-tinted sunglasses and plenty of silver rings – including Gucci’s double G key ring, a nod to her relationship with the brand as she recently debuted a new eyewear campaign. Hilsa opted for a fresh-faced makeup look, highlighting her jet-black hair and bangs.
Host Chatfield, dressed in a loose-fitting shirtdress and Western knee-high boots, sat next to Hilsa as the pair posed for pictures inside the studio. “You better believe we have @bilieeilish joining the show tonight!” She captioned an Instagram post to promote the exciting moment.
Eilish’s look is on the grungier side, also reaching for “Clueless”-inspired ’90s trends like sweater vests and miniskirts while on tour. In late August, she paired a lace slip dress with chunky moon boots and a newsboy cap.
