It’s hailed as a must-have for any capsule wardrobe, and “Stranger Things” star Millie Bobby Brown once again showcases the simple sophistication of the little black dress. Looking effortlessly chic while attending the Samsung 2022 Galaxy Creators Lounge event in New York City on Aug. 10, she stepped out in a lace-trimmed Louis Vuitton minidress straight off the Spring/Summer 2022 runway.
The 18-year-old gave this timeless look a modern twist. The double spaghetti straps and V-neckline were designed with a bubble-hem peplum at the waist, and the silk fabric skirt was finished with a lace trim. She paired the loose-fit dress with black patent Mary Jane platform heels that perfectly offset the floaty frock, accessorizing with a simple gold chain necklace, hoop earrings, a bangle and a ring.
Brown continued to blend the classic with the contemporary as her hair and makeup were flawless. A little black dress and a bold red lip is undoubtedly a winning combination, and Brown proved it with a sweep of bold lipstick. Matte skin and a subtle gold eyeshadow along with her signature smoky eyeliner completed her makeup. She gave her blonde hair a middle parting, smoothing her bob haircut and tucking it behind her ears to keep her look fuss-free. It was a dramatically different feel from the long blonde hair and fringe she debuted at the “Stranger Things” premiere in May.
After another incredible season playing Eleven on “Stranger Things,” she’s using the summer to take some well-deserved downtime and vacation in Italy with her boyfriend, Jake Bongiovi. The couple also attended Harry Styles’ Love On Tour at Wembley Stadium in London, and Brown posted a photo of the pair sharing a sundae and playing an arcade dance machine alongside the caption “Always be my baby”.
Her outing this week follows her recent interview with Allure magazine, where she opened up about growing up in the spotlight. “I just have to develop myself. That’s what I did. That’s what I’m doing,” he told the publication. She is definitely becoming a style icon to us.
