Beyoncé is letting everyone know that her Telfer bags are front and center in her closet. With fans engrossed by the hypnotic lyrics and captivating dance beats on her latest album “Renaissance,” the entire album’s final verse is being hailed as a love letter to black designers and a timeless Telfer bag. The last song, “Summer Renaissance,” has Beyoncé seductively promoting her love of European brands and life’s luxuries. “Verses, Bottega, Prada, Balenciaga / Vuitton, Dior, Givenchy, collect your points, Beyoncé,” he sings. “So elegant and sultry, this haute dress I’m flaunting / This Telfer bag is imported, Birkins, they’re in storage / I’m in my bag.”

It’s a simple line, but it speaks volumes. Beyoncé was first spotted carrying the “Bushwick Birkin” last summer when she strolled the streets of New York City with the black-owned brand’s medium white shopping bag. After that fateful spotting in July 2021, founder Telfer Clemens promised loyal shoppers that prices would remain the same. The Beyoncé snapped up a very tempting purse. Now that her love for the brand has been certified in a “summer renaissance,” (Telfer) has our fears about securing the bag.

Beyoncé’s statement about affordable, classic purses carries a deeper meaning with the surrounding lyrics. While many celebrities carry Hermès Birkin bags, which can range from $40K to $500K depending on the year, style and design, Beyoncé says she has storage and her Telfar bags are a priority. Telfer shopping bags range from $150 to $257 for three different sizes. The label has released new styles and collaborations with UGG, White Castle, Converse and more since the iconic bag gained popularity a few years ago, but this Beyoncé reference officially takes Telfer to a new level.

“I’m in my bag,” and we don’t know what! Check out the lyric video for Beyoncé’s “Summer Renaissance” below, and Godspeed to anyone who is now waiting for the next recovery.
