At the BET Awards, Chlöe wore a black Nicholas Zebran gown

While Chlöe remains relatively quiet about dropping her highly-anticipated debut album, she continues to refine her personal style on the red carpet. For the June 26, 2022 BET Awards, “Have Mercy” singer Nicholas Zebran wore a black gown with cutouts and sequins along the chest. In terms of accessories, she carried a pile of silver and diamond piled hoop earrings and a matching bracelet on her right wrist.

On Instagram, Chloe spoke openly about how she was feeling before the big event, especially as one of the show’s headliners: “Can you say I’m nervous to perform tonight,” she wrote, adding a tearful emoji. Fans and followers alike cheered him on – among them was Sister Haley, who commented with two heart-eye emojis to show her support.

Nerves aside, the 23-year-old “big-ish” star teamed up with stylist Jennifer Udechuku to create her glamorous BET Awards ensemble, somewhat reminiscent of her recent Met Gala look. Mete, she chose an area gown from the label’s Couture Spring / Summer 2022 collection. The embroidered dress features a sculpted skirt with an asymmetrical cup and an exaggerated butt accent and a thigh-high slit.

If her outfit choice for the Met Gala and BET Awards is any indication, it looks like Chloe’s current style is inspired by the modus operandi 2000’s cutouts, sequins and eye-catching architectural shapes. Will her clothing choices change when her album is released? Only time will tell — but for now, keep scrolling to see more snaps of his stunningly sequined BET Awards look.
